Wii Gets More from Ubisoft
Ubisoft has announced that it would release Splinter Cell Double Agent along with the Wii on launch day. Ubisoft has been very supportive of the Wii, having already announced 7 launch titles (Red Steel, Rayman Raving Rabbids, Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WW2, Far Cry Vengeance, Open Season, Monster 4 X 4 World Circuit and GT Pro Series) and another new Prince of Persia game would be released in March next year.
Splinter Cell Double Agent for Wii would be based on both the PS2 and GameCube versions, with brushed up graphics and new controls, which would make use of both the Wii-mote and nunchuck attachment. However, The Xbox 360 version would contain more missions than the Wii version, and the Wii version would not have any form of online play. Nevertheless, downloadable content from Wii's online service, Wii24Connect, is still possible, although no details have been made about it yet.
Meanwhile, Ubisoft also made known that GT Pro Series would come packaged with a steering wheel attachment.
