My Verdict: F.E.A.R is overated

(Exclusive) - I thought this game was suspposed to be very good. To my surprise ... ... After playing the first few levels, oh my god! This game is boring. Too many ghouly cutscences, the same old soldiers attacking you everytime and what's more, they only appear here and there. You don't feel constant action, you don't get the thrill factor. The graphics are not bad, though, but the Doom 3 engine is better. Where's the tension PC Gamer said? Can you really be hoooked onto this game, just like what Gamespy said? I don't feel hooked. Okay, that's just for the first few levels. If the game becomes more exciting in the later stage, I will write again. Ratings is pending. Let's wait till I finish the game. One thing's for sure, it is not as good as Doom 3. Look out for my Quake 4 review and verdict next month.
