Game Review 1: Burnout Revenge
Burnout Revenge is basically a crash and burn car game. You progress through ten levels of gameplay and your rank increases through the levels. Through the levels, you aqquire new and faster cars. In this game, the more aggressive you are, the more you are rewarded. A pity this game has only eight tracks, which will repeat themselves over the ten levels. You will find that you will be bored after playing the game for a few days or weeks. There are many types of events in Burnout Revenge. The most interesting ones are the Eliminator, where that car in the last position is eliminated after every 30s. Then, there is the normal race, the crashbreaker race, where you car can explode after it crashed, and the grand prix. The things that set Burnout Revenge from the other racing games are the special events like the road rage, where you takedown vehicles to earn money, the normal time trial mode, the traffic check, where you knock vehichles to earn money. The special events as mentioned above are surprisingly lame to me. It is dumb. And you even have to pass through these events first before advancing to the racing events. Also, although the game brings crashing fun, it's not realistic. For screeenshots, visit this website: http://media.xbox.gamespy.com/media/708/708572/imgs_1.html
